Okeene is 8-2 against Geary since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Okeene Whippets will take on the Geary Bison at 8:00 p.m. Okeene is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Okeene is headed into the match having just suffered their biggest loss since February 6, 2024 on Tuesday. They took a blow against Dover, falling 57-29. While losing is never fun, the Whippets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 306th, while the Longhorns are ranked 97th).

Meanwhile, Geary didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Corn Bible Academy on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 58-53 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bison.

Geary has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Okeene, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

Okeene came up short against Geary in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 67-62. Can Okeene avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
