Volleyball Recap: Appleton East Takes a Loss

Appleton East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2023.

Appleton East's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Fox Valley Lutheran, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Appleton East has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Ashwaubenon on the 26th. As for Fox Valley Lutheran, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Howards Grove on the 26th.
