Horizon came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Holy Family Tigers, falling 13-4. The Hawks' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Horizon saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Lopez, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Horizon's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Holy Family, they pushed their record up to 8-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Horizon will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Mead at 4:00 p.m. As for Holy Family, they will head out to square off against Silver Creek at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Raptors at the right time seeing as the Raptors are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
