Cypress Bay found a leader in Gabe Gener as the team took down Coral Glades on Tuesday. Gener didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched, which was good enough to set a new career-high in strikeouts. What's more, he gave up only three hits, the fewest he's had since back in March of 2024.

Coming up, Gener and Cypress Bay will welcome South Plantation at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Gener has dominated as far as walks are concerned (he's averaged 1.3 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering the Paladins have only allowed 5.67 per game this season.
