Basketball Recap: Mountain View Takes a Loss

After flying high against El Monte last Wednesday, Mountain View came back down to earth. The match between the Mountain View Vikings and the Gabrielino Eagles didn't end well, with the Mountain View Vikings falling 61-45. The Vikings were probably out for revenge after losing 71-45 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Mountain View has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-18 record this season. As for Gabrielino, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-11.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing South El Monte the next time they take the court. Mountain View will head out to face South El Monte at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, while Gabrielino will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
