Volleyball Recap: Corydon Central Takes a Loss

Corydon Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Christian Academy Warriors, falling 3-0. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-21, 25-10.

Jordin McCarty paced Corydon Central's offense, picking up four kills. McCarty got some help from Khloe Kraft and her 12 assists.

Corydon Central's record is now 4-19. As for Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Corydon Central will face off against Springs Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Christian Academy, they will challenge Clarksville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
