After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Byron Center, Hammond Morton was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 52-0 win over the Calumet New Tech Warriors. The Governors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Hammond Morton was led to victory by Dashawn Woods and Holland Harris. Woods gained 175 total yards and two touchdowns, while Harris threw for 192 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes. Martel Kelly helped Harris out on the ground, rushing for 51 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, while also picking up 31 receiving yards.

Hammond Morton's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Jalen Arnold and Freddy Brown.
