Softball Game Preview: Westside Wolverines vs. Eagle's View Warriors

For the second straight game, Westside will face off against Eagle's View. The Wolverines will take on the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Westside has given up an average of 17.6 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Westside came up short against Eagle's View on Wednesday, falling 20-3.

For Eagle's View's part, the team relied heavily on Emilie Christie, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those four hits gave Christie a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Savana-June Clifton, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Eagle's View always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .697. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .604 or higher in three consecutive contests.

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Eagle's View, their win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-13.
