Baseball Recap: Piscataway Takes a Loss

Piscataway came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-2 to the Carteret Ramblers. If the Chiefs were looking for revenge after losing 5-0 to the Ramblers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Piscataway has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Carteret, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7.

While Piscataway had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
