After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mt. Zion Prep Academy, Poly was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Digital Harbor Rams 77-15. The Engineers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Poly to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alexis Smothers, who went 6 of 8 on her way to 12 points and five steals. That's the most steals Smothers has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Alia Austin, who went 5 for 7 en route to 11 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Poly was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Poly has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.9 points per game. As for Digital Harbor, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
