The Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech Panthers will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the High School of the Future Firebirds at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech has three straight victories, High School of the Future has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

It was a proper cat-fight when Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech challenged Tacony Academy Charter on Wednesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 7-0 margin over the Lions. The result was nothing new for Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech, who have now won four matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Tacony Academy Charter with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Yuilder Sarabria (3), Jennsi Madrid-Mendez (2), Dayon Mathis, and Jeremith Figueroa Ortiz.

Meanwhile, High School of the Future managed to keep up with West Philadelphia until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Firebirds came up short against the Speedboys, falling 5-1. That's two games in a row now that High School of the Future have lost by exactly four goals.

Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for High School of the Future, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3-1.
