Girard is 9-1 against Iroquois since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Girard Yellowjackets will take on the Iroquois Braves in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. Girard will be strutting in after a victory while Iroquois will be coming in after a loss.

Last Friday, Girard was able to grind out a solid win over Warren, taking the game 57-50.

Meanwhile, Iroquois was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 74-37 loss at the hands of Sharon.

Girard now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Iroquois, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything came up roses for Girard against Iroquois in their previous matchup back in February, as the squad secured a 68-36 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Girard since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
