Basketball Recap: Towanda's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Towanda came into Tuesday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 46-42 victory over the Sayre Redskins on Tuesday. For the Black Knights, this counts as revenge for the 67-57 win the Redskins walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

The victory got Towanda back to even at 1-1. As for Sayre, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Towanda will welcome Williamson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sayre, they will take on Wellsboro at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
