Soccer Recap: Sheridan Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against International, Sheridan was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They never let the Western Boone Stars get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. Sheridan have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Western Boone, too.

Trace Knight and Jackson Aleman scored both of Sheridan's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

The victory got Sheridan back to even at 2-2. As for Western Boone, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Coincidentally, Sheridan and Western Boone will both be playing Bethesda Christian the next time they take the pitch. The Blackhawks will host the Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Stars will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
