Volleyball Recap: Northwest Takes a Loss

Northwest lost against Byron Nelson back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Texans came up short against the Bobcat, falling 3-0. The Texans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 25-14.

Levariya Pinder paced Northwest's offense, picking up 14 kills. Pinder got some help from Payton Zondor and her 21 assists.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 23-12. As for Byron Nelson, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 35-0.

Northwest and Byron Nelson should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Texans will challenge Trinity at 5:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (41 vs. 442). Meanwhile, Byron Nelson (ranked first) will meet Bell (ranked 426th) at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
