Softball Recap: Boiling Springs Comes Up Short

After flying high against Susquehanna Township last Friday, Boiling Springs came back down to earth. The Boiling Springs Bubblers lost 10-3 to the Lancaster Catholic Crusaders on Monday.

Boiling Springs got a big performance out of Peyton Lawyer, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Lawyer also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Gabrielle Vonstein was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Boiling Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lancaster Catholic, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Boiling Springs is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will face off against Muhlenberg at 4:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Lancaster Catholic, they will welcome J.P. McCaskey at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
