Baseball Recap: Stoughton Comes Up Short

Stoughton lost to Portage on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vikings fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 6-5. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Givon Storkson made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Stoughton's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Portage, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stoughton will host Lake Mills at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Portage, they will be playing in front of their home fans against River Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
