Baseball Recap: Green County Has No Trouble Against Hart County

Green County not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 18th (when they won 16-1). They were the clear victors by a 16-6 margin over the Hart County Raiders. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

Drew Squires was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April. Hayden Blakeman was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four RBI and two runs.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Green County kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hart County only managed seven hits.

Green County is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for Hart County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-21-1.

As of now, neither Green County nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
