Eastmoor Academy picks up third straight win at home

Recap: Eastmoor Academy Warriors vs. Walnut Ridge Scots

The Eastmoor Academy Warriors waltzed into their match on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 56-39 win over Walnut Ridge. That's two games straight that Eastmoor Academy has won by exactly 17 points.

Despite the defeat, Walnut Ridge saw an underclassman step up: Quorion Small scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Small has scored all season. Nariyah Roddy was another key contributor, scoring seven points.

Eastmoor Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Walnut Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6.

Eastmoor Academy will head out on the road to face off against West at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Walnut Ridge, Walnut Ridge and Briggs will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
