Booker has gone 7-2 against Bayshore recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Tornadoes will challenge the Bruins at 7:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Booker sitting on four straight wins and Bayshore on three.
Last Friday, Booker strolled past Lely with points to spare, taking the game 28-14.

It was another big night for Joel Morris, who threw for 346 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 15.0 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 31 yards and one TD. What's more, he racked up 148.1 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024. Booker's leading receiver Tyren Wortham was Morris' top target yet again, picking up 148 receiving yards and one score.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bayshore). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat IMG Academy State 57-7. With the Bruins ahead 51-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Booker better keep an eye on Jaydis Wiley. He was instrumental in Bayshore's win, throwing for 257 yards and five TDs while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushing for 34 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Their leading receiver Camdon Stancil was Wiley's top target yet again, picking up 81 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
Bayshore didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ky'Mani Reed and Marquis Spry. Spry is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season.
Special teams played a big role in the game for Bayshore, adding 13 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Jayden Gibson, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Bayshore's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Booker, their win bumped their record up to an identical 4-1.
Friday's contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Morris and Wiley. Morris just won't slow down this season and has thrown 13 touchdowns (and no picks) while averaging 245.2 passing yards per game. Wiley has been a dominant force too and has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 210.4 passing yards per game.
Everything came up roses for Booker against Bayshore when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 49-0 victory. Will the Tornadoes repeat their success, or do the Bruins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
