Volleyball Game Preview: Fallbrook Warriors vs. Del Norte Nighthawks + Official Tickets

The Fallbrook Warriors will challenge the Del Norte Nighthawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Fallbrook not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0). They blew past San Pasqual 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Fallbrook was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13, 25-21.

Fallbrook can attribute much of their success to Olivia Van Eik, who had 14 digs and two assists, and Taylor Thomas, who hit 50% for 16 kills and 12 digs and one assist. The last time Thomas' hitting percentage was this high was over her last seven contests.

Fallbrook was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, Del Norte made easy work of Rancho Buena Vista on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-12, 25-14.

Fallbrook's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Del Norte, their victory bumped their record up to 15-13-2.

Fallbrook came out on top in a nail-biter against Del Norte in their previous matchup on October 2nd, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Warriors repeat their success, or do the Nighthawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
