The Flushing Raiders are taking a road trip to take on the Dexter Dreadnaughts at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Flushing's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They breezed past Brandon to the tune of 38-0. The Raiders pushed the score to 32-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Blackhawks had no chance of recovering from.

Mate'O Cross had a dynamite game, rushing for 110 yards and one TD on only six carries. That rushing touchdown was his first of the season.

Cross was just one part of a punishing run game: Flushing was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 323 rushing yards. That's a new trend for the Raiders: they were averaging 95.8 rushing yards per game earlier this season, but in their last five games they've averaged 217.

Meanwhile, Dexter entered their tilt with Pioneer on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 69-19 win over the Pioneers. The Dreadnaughts' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

The victory got Flushing back to even at 4-4. As for Dexter, their record now sits at 7-1.
