Baseball Game Preview: Wabasha-Kellogg Falcons vs. Dover-Eyota Eagles

Wabasha-Kellogg hasn't had much luck against Dover-Eyota recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Falcons will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Wabasha-Kellogg will be strutting in after a victory while Dover-Eyota will be coming in after a defeat.

Wabasha-Kellogg will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Plainview-Elgin-Millville, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Falcons walked away with a 6-3 win over the Bulldogs on Friday. The game was the first time the Falcons have beaten the Bulldogs on their field since May 16, 2017.

Meanwhile, Dover-Eyota lost 11-1 to Pine Island on Friday.

Dover-Eyota saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kellen Andring, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
