Basketball Recap: Skyline Takes a Loss

Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 84-78 heartbreaker at the hands of the Swett Warriors. The Titans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Swett, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6.

Skyline will take on McClymonds at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Swett, they and De Anza will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Swett's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games.
