Baseball Recap: Bensalem Comes Up Short

Bensalem lost against Council Rock South on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Fighting Owls took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Golden Hawks. The Fighting Owls have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bensalem saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Anderson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Bensalem now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Council Rock South, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

While Bensalem had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:45 a.m. on Thursday.
