Softball Recap: Westminster Wolves vs. Mountain Range Mustangs        
        
		
             Westminster had to endure  a  seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victor by  a  13-7 margin over the Mountain Range Mustangs on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  victory the Wolves have posted  since September 5th.
 Westminster let  Magaly Santacruz and  Jaleesa Talmich Martinez loose on the outfield. Santacruz  scored three  runs while going 2-for-5, while  Talmich Martinez  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Vanessa Castillo Vargas, who  scored four  runs while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances.
 Westminster's win  ended  a  six-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 5-11. As for Mountain Range, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost ten of their last 12 games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westminster will host Northglenn  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Northglenn is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9  runs per game  this season. As for Mountain Range, they will face off against Boulder at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
