Las Vegas needed a changed in momentum after dropping four straight games and they got it from Omar Duarte. The Wildcats won by a set and slipped past the Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas Falcons 2-1 for which the team can thank Duarte, who had 20 digs. He has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 11 times he's played.

Las Vegas' win bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3.

Las Vegas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Desert Oasis on the 4th. As for Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Sweetwater on the 5th.
