Volleyball Recap: Valley Stream Central Comes Up Short

Valley Stream Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Hicksville Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 on September 3rd.

Valley Stream Central may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 20 points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

Valley Stream Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hicksville, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Valley Stream Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Westbury on the 27th. Hicksville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
