Volleyball Recap: Colby Triumphs

Colby picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They came out on top against the White Lake Lakers by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Colby easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17.

Daelyn Rieck paced Colby's offense, picking up seven kills. Rieck got some help from Cadence Meyer and her nine assists. Rylee Carr controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Colby now has a winning record of 14-13. As for White Lake, their defeat was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-8.

Colby has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Owen-Withee on the 30th. As for White Lake, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Phelps on the 30th.
