Volleyball Game Preview: Briggs Bruins vs. West Cowboys

The Briggs Bruins will face off against the West Cowboys at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Tuesday, Briggs beat Eastmoor Academy 3-1. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-14, 22-25, 25-14.

Meanwhile, West got the win against Independence on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cowboys.

While West won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-22, 25-17.

West's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Briggs, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Briggs took their win against West in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. Will Briggs repeat their success, or does West have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
