Basketball Recap: Mansfield's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Billings typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Mansfield proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Billings Wildcats 70-50. The victory was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Mansfield's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-9. As for Billings, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mansfield will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sparta at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. As for Billings, they will host Spokane at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
