Ankeny Centennial faced Norwalk in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Jaguars walked away with a 2-0 win over the Warriors. Winning may never get old, but the Jaguars sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Tatem Schmidt paced Ankeny Centennial's offense, picking up seven kills. Schmidt got some help from Maegan Cheeseman and her 15 assists.

Ankeny Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 13-2. As for Norwalk, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 11-6 record.

Ankeny Centennial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Oskaloosa on the 13th. As for Norwalk, they are taking a road trip to challenge Newton at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
