Football Recap: North Caroline Comes Up Short

North Caroline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 50-7 loss at the hands of the Wicomico Indians. The Bulldogs lost against the Indians in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 20-12 score last time.

North Caroline's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Wicomico, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Looking ahead, North Caroline will look to defend their home field on Friday against Parkside at 6:00 p.m. The Bulldogs will be up against the Rams' rather soft defense (which has allowed 29.67 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Wicomico, they are taking a road trip to challenge Kent Island at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
