Volleyball Recap: Kimball Longhorns vs. Garden County Eagles
Kimball lost against Garden County back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Longhorns took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kimball was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 18 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-18.
Their offense was headlined by Clarika Hottell and Addisyn Olson, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Grace Moore and her 16 assists.
Kirstyn Beberniss had a dynamite game For Garden County., getting eight digs and three aces. Beberniss is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Kenley Dehning was another key player, getting ten digs.
Kimball now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Garden County, their record is now 3-1.
Kimball didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Potter-Dix on the 11th. As for Garden County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Bridgeport on the 9th.
