You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for South Mountain on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that they blew the Camelback Spartans out of the water with a 59-25 final score. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.

Bry'Ann Wiley was her usual excellent self, going 8 for 14 to rack up 23 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Asia Martin, who posted 13 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

South Mountain smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in three consecutive matches.

Despite the loss, Camelback still got an impressive performance from Kyliana Massey, who earned 15 points and eight rebounds. Those eight boards gave Massey a new career-high.

South Mountain pushed their record up to 13-10 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.0 points over those games. As for Camelback, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.

South Mountain wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 72-16 win against Browne on the 7th. As for Camelback, they have also already played their next contest, a 53-24 victory against Maryvale on the 7th.
