Soccer Recap: Corbin Comes Up Short

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Corbin was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They lost 6-1 to the Oneida Baptist Institute Mountaineers. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Corbin couldn't quite close it out.

Corbin has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5-1 record this season. As for Oneida Baptist Institute, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Coming up, Corbin will welcome Pulaski County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pulaski County's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Oneida Baptist Institute, they will head out on the road to take on Hazard at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
