The Palmyra Panthers will square off against the Fillmore Central Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
Last Friday, Palmyra ended up a good deal behind Superior and lost 27-13. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

A big part of the win came down to the chemistry between Preston Komenda and his top target Jarin Tweedy. Komenda threw for 125 yards and a touchdown while Tweedy picked up 73 receiving yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards Komenda has posted since back in September of 2023.
Fillmore Central's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged four passes before it was all said and done. It was truly a group effort as Kayden Bolejack, Kiffin Theobald, and Tweedy picked up one apiece.
Palmyra's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Fillmore Central, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.
