It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Reese had no problem doing just that on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the All Saints Central Cougars a 10-0 shutout. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Reese.
Kylie Soper was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only one hit over five innings pitched. Soper has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive pitching appearances. Soper was also big at the plate, going 3-for-3 with two RBI and a double.
