Softball Recap: Clayton Comes Up Short

Clayton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 27-10 to the Mora Rangers/Rangerettes. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers/Rangerettes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 27-5 on Tuesday.

Clayton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mora, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clayton will venture away from home to face off against Logan at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be Clayton's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Mora, they will take on Capitan in a tournament on Thursday.
