Basketball Recap: Natrona County Takes a Loss

Natrona County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 54-41 to the Sheridan Broncs. The contest marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Natrona County's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Sheridan, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Natrona County will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Star Valley at 7:30 p.m. on January 17, 2025. Sheridan also won't see the court for a while: their next match is against East at 6:00 p.m. on January 17, 2025. East knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Sheridan likes a good challenge.
