Soccer Recap: Buena Takes a Loss

Buena lost against Oxnard back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Buena Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oxnard Yellowjackets. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 887th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 41st).

Buena's goal came courtesy of Tyler Jaitt, which was the first he's scored this season.

Buena has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-16-2 record this season. As for Oxnard, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-4-4.

As of now, neither Buena nor Oxnard have any future games scheduled.
