Basketball Game Preview: Schaumburg Christian Conquerors vs. South Beloit Sobos

Schaumburg Christian is 2-7 against South Beloit since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Schaumburg Christian Conquerors will be playing at home against the South Beloit Sobos at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Schaumburg Christian beat Christian Life 54-50.

Lucas Bustamante was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 26 points and ten boards. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elliot Foy, who posted 15 points and five steals.

Meanwhile, everything came up roses for South Beloit against Mooseheart on Friday as the squad secured a 77-45 victory. The Sobos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 21 points or more this season.

Schaumburg Christian pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.4 points per game. As for South Beloit, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
