Romeo waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Adams Highlanders. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since November 6, 2024.

Romeo's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Adams, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Romeo will head out to square off against Anchor Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The match will give the Bulldogs their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Adams, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Stoney Creek at 5:00 p.m. on September 9.
