Volleyball Recap: Rigby Falls Short Against Ranked Madison

Rigby faced Madison in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Trojans fell 2-0 to the Bobcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss on Saturday.

Rigby was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-22.

Brinley Bybee paced Rigby's offense, picking up nine kills. Bybee got some help from Iris Wells and her 11 assists.

Rigby's loss dropped their record down to 26-6. As for Madison, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 23-0.

Rigby has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Thunder Ridge on the 30th. As for Madison, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Highland on the 30th.
