Olympian won against Hilltop last Friday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Eagles walked away with a 6-3 win over the Mater Dei Catholic Crusaders. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 4-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Luke Hill looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Isaac Mendoza was excellent, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Sebastian Diaz was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI.

Olympian kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive contests.

Olympian's record now sits at 15-7-1. As for Mater Dei Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-13.

Olympian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Crusaders: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
