Volleyball Recap: St. Ursula Academy Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

St. Ursula Academy had won two straight home games and Emma Frietch did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Turpin Spartans with plenty of help from Frietch, who had eight digs and five aces. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more aces the last three times she's played.

St. Ursula Academy walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, 25-16.

St. Ursula Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Turpin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-6.

St. Ursula Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Ursuline Academy on the 30th. As for Turpin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Little Miami on the 29th.
