Football Recap: Kennedale Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against La Vega, Kennedale was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 17-10 win over the Aubrey Chaparrals. The score was all tied up 10-10 at the break, but the Wildcats were the (much) better team in the second half.

Riley Bingham was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 97 yards and one touchdown.

The victory got Kennedale back to even at 1-1. As for Aubrey, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Kennedale will head out to square off against Springtown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Aubrey, they will face off against Brock at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
