Volleyball Recap: Parkway South Has No Trouble Against Riverview Gardens

Parkway South won the last time they faced Riverview Gardens and things went their way on Thursday too. The Patriots blew past the Rams 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Parkway South was: they took every set by at least 17 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-4, 25-8.

Player #10 was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine aces. Player #14 was another key player, getting five assists and four aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Parkway South was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 32 aces. They are 10-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Parkway South's victory bumped their record up to 13-9-4. As for Riverview Gardens, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Parkway South wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against MICDS on the 13th. As for Riverview Gardens, they will face off against Northwest at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
