Football Game Preview: Lee vs. Luray

Luray have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Lee on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the teams both put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.

Luray put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season two weeks ago. They made easy work of Wilson Memorial and carried off a 56-35 victory.

Meanwhile, don't be fooled by the insanely high score: we promise Wilson Memorial and Lee were playing football. Lee had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it last Saturday as the team lost 49-50 to Wilson Memorial. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.

Luray found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-38 punch to the gut against Lee the last time the two teams met. The defeat knocked Luray out of the playoffs, so expect them to come at Lee with a vengeful fire.
