Baseball Recap: Wonewoc-Center Comes Up Short

Wonewoc-Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 18-0 to the Bangor Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in April.

Wonewoc-Center's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Bangor, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wonewoc-Center is set to challenge their familiar foe Necedah at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bangor will square off against rival Hillsboro at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
